Leaf Bag Collection begins: The Town will begin its ten-week leaf bag service on Oct. 13 and continue to Dec. 18. Simply place leaf bags at the curb on your trash collection day and a truck will come by to pick them up. Residents needing help bagging leaves should visit the public works web site for a listing of organizations and landscapers who can assist. There will be no vacuum collection.
Absentee Ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office for the November 3rd election. You may fill out an on-line application or pick one up at the offices of the Registrars of Voters or Town Clerk.

There's a a new website: West Hartford Citizens for Quality Education. Citizens for Quality Education ("CQE") was founded in 1994 in response to the then Board of Education's "K-2/3-5" plan. It has been revived to combat possible ill effects and higher town costs as a result of state mandates regarding racial imbalance laws.
Talk of West Hartford took a break for the month of September but now we're back.

I noticed that the link to the CQE website didn't work. After doing a Google search I found that the URL is www.westhartfordcqe.blogspot.com. What is your opinion of the info on this website?
